Ohio Technical College Named 2009 School of the Year: Tomorrow's Technician
CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ohio Technical College (OTC) has been awarded top prize as the 2009 School of the Year in the 2nd annual Tomorrow's Technician/Chicago Pneumatic competition.
Ohio Technical College, a family-owned school providing technical training in a variety of transportation industries, was selected from more than 170 entries nominating 80 schools across the country. Babcox Publications' Tomorrow's Technician magazine and Chicago Pneumatic, a leading provider of high-performance tools and compressors, created the contest to recognize top technical colleges dedicated to innovative training programs that prepare students for real-world careers.
As the top school, Ohio Technical College received $10,000 worth of Chicago Pneumatic tools and an award presentation at the school, among other prizes. On hand to present the award and tools to the school were representatives from Chicago Pneumatic and Tomorrow’s Technician, and custom hot rod designer, builder and painter Rich Evans of Huntington Beach Bodyworks, Huntington Beach, CA.
